This town (like all towns) is here because of their River. Yet, where is the River? Why was this River covered up?
A multi-faceted event of engagement-including the “divining” and painting of the River on the main parking lot in town, the writing of a collective poem about the River a history walk through the town, remembering when the River was visible, and conversations connecting this River to the big issues of Water in the world.
Thanks to Welfare State International Theatre, all the town folks in Ulverston, England who helped enact this daylong event.
